Fr. Dan Tuton, Rector
Hope-in-the-Desert is an intergenerational, Christ-centered community that
welcomes everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual search. I trust
that you will feel God's joyful presence in our church and in its people.
(inspired by a sermon by The Rev. Dan
Tuton on 8/16/15)
Grace is a dance between God and me,
While angels sing a melody
too sweet for human ears to hear.
God guides my feet and holds me
And the maestro? Christ is He.
The Holy Spirit gently guides me
onto the floor where we will dance.
I am not here because of chance,
but, rather, God’s unfolding plan
that lets me know just who I am.
I’m God’s own child; He holds me near.
Within God’s Grace His love is clear.
