Worship & Music

We continue to select a convergent mix of music that is consistent with our heritage here at Hope in the Desert.

Together we worship in different ways.

It is our hope and prayer that this goes beyond a “something for everyone” approach and challenges all of us to deeper levels of worship – that those who find traditional hymns difficult will discover their beauty and depth, and that those less comfortable with contemporary worship music will find authentic ways of experiencing that music as well. Together we worship in different ways. One is reminded of a song that we have sung a few times by the very contemporary worship leader, Chris Tomlin: “We stand and lift up our hands... We bow down and worship Him now... Together we sing: Holy is the Lord God Almighty!”
